Duets star, Kelly Clarkson, seems to be feeling pretty good about her appearance lately and who can blame her? She’s rocking some gorgeous golden locks and she’s dropped an impressive 30 pounds.Â
So, how has she managed to do slim down? "There's no secret!" she says. "It's just trying to eat a little better and work out a little more. But no matter what size I am I love performing no matter how big or little I am! I feel good."
Despite her words, one source says that she was moved to lose weight after seeing her performance on the VH1 Divas Celebrates Soul performance this past December. "She saw how heavy she was and she didn't like it. That's when she decided to really get into shape," the source said.
Understandable. Many of us see pictures of ourselves and feel compelled to drop some bulk but not too many of us actually succeed so she definitely is to be commended for that.
Of her new blonde hair color, Clarkson says: "I love it! People keep asking me if I am having more fun, being blonde, but I always have fun! Whether I'm blonde, redhead, or brunette! I always have fun, dammit!"
Maybe she’s looking better because she’s feeling better? The singer, who has been in a relationship since just before Christmas, said: "I'm too happy! He's ruining my creativity! I'm writing all this happy sh--! It's killing me."
She’s just going to have to find a way to channel all that glee into hit records!
